Description

NovaTec^® is a NPK complex fertilizer with nitrification inhibitor DMPP (3,4-dimethylpyrazolphosphate). The nitrification inhibitor reduces N leaching and increases N efficiency. During the active phase of DMPP (4-10 weeks, depending on soil temperature, soil type and soil humidity), the transformation of ammonium to nitrate is delayed. As a result, N availability is further adapted to the plants’ requirements and N efficiency is increased.
The nitrification inhibitor technology is combined with most of COMPO EXPERT’s Blaukorn^® and ENPEKA fertilizer formulas, giving access not only to SOP-based formulas for usage in horticulture but to all kind of agricultural crops as well.
